Prisoner 84 1.1

Before we get into the gory details, let’s take a quick look at the story behind this game. There’s not much to say, so there this won’t take long (I know you don’t want to waste time). Okay, so the story is that you are psychotic prisoner (prisoner #84 to be more precise) and you are jailed in Tryton, a maximum security, offshore prison. But you won’t be imprisoned for long because you’re busting out.

Here comes the spooky and gory bit. You can’t just walk out of prison, obviously, you have to fight your way out of prison. In trying to make it out, you will explore some pretty creepy and spooky areas. You will have to go down dark corridors covered in cobwebs, and you will see blood splattered all over the place in others – but don’t worry, it’s just a game, you don’t have to be too spooked about it.

It should be mentioned here that there are over 40 areas to explore in the game. It will take you a bit of time to explore them all.

As I was saying, you have to fight your way out of prison – which means you will have to shoot people. The gory part is not that you will get blood all over the place. The gory part is that when you shoot someone, pieces of flesh will go flying off. You can shoot the enemy’s flesh right off his torso or arms, or even head. It’s a bit gruesome, but I think it goes pretty well with the overall feel of the game.

The game may b a bit spooky and it may be a bit gory, but that does not subtract from the fact that it is a very nice third person shooter. Once you get used to the darkness, cobwebs and blood, you will enjoy shooting your way out of prison.
